Croghan Organic Garden was first established in 1998 operating from one small site in Croghan village. Since then we have expanded our business. The site in Croghan is where all the propagation is carried out, using the heated benches. there is also a small element of production in 2 tunnels plus some amount of soft fruit production, mainly blackcurrants.
Our 2nd site situated just outside the village of Croghan at Carrowmore is a primary production site with 10 tunnels of various sizes. There is approximately 2000 square metres of polytunnel space. All the packing, weighing, bagging etc is also carried out there in a purpose built shed.
Our 3rd site is in the town of Elphin and is situated just behind the old grammar school on the main street. this site is devoted to production with 1800 square metre of polytunnel space. All crops harvested there are transported to Carrowmore for bagging etc.
